Aussie Shed exists to support genuine Australian makers, creators and craftspeople.

We aim to provide a marketplace where buyers can discover authentic handmade products, custom work and workshop-built creations made by real people.

To maintain the quality and integrity of the platform, all sellers and listings must comply with these guidelines.

  1. Eligible Sellers

Aussie Shed welcomes:

Woodworkers Furniture Makers Smiths & Metalworkers CNC & Laser Operators 3D Printing Creators Leatherworkers Artists & Decor Makers Fabricators & Welders Other genuine Australian makers and creators

Seller approval is granted at the discretion of Aussie Shed.

  1. Australian-Made Focus

Products listed on Aussie Shed should be:

Handmade by the seller Designed and produced by the seller Manufactured by the seller in Australia Custom-made by the seller Created using the seller's own skills and equipment

We encourage transparency about how products are made.

  1. Prohibited Listings

The following items may not be listed on Aussie Shed:

Mass-Produced Imported Goods

Products purchased wholesale and resold without meaningful creation or modification by the seller.

Dropshipped Products

Products shipped directly from third-party suppliers or overseas manufacturers.

Counterfeit Goods

Products that infringe trademarks, copyrights or intellectual property rights.

Illegal Products

Any item prohibited under Australian law.

Stolen Goods

Products that are stolen, unlawfully obtained or offered without legal ownership.

Misrepresented Products

Items advertised as handmade, custom-made or Australian-made when they are not.

Unsafe Products

Items that present unreasonable safety risks or fail to meet applicable Australian safety requirements.

Offensive Content

Items promoting hate, discrimination, harassment or unlawful activities.

  1. Restricted Items

Certain categories may require additional review, information or approval before being listed.

Aussie Shed reserves the right to restrict or remove listings that may present legal, safety or regulatory concerns.

  1. Seller Responsibilities

Approved makers must:

Provide accurate descriptions Use genuine product photographs where possible Clearly communicate production and delivery timeframes Respond to customer enquiries professionally Fulfil orders as described Comply with Australian Consumer Law 7. Custom Orders

Makers offering custom work should:

Clearly explain what is included Confirm specifications before commencing work Communicate expected timeframes Keep communication within the marketplace where possible 8. Marketplace Integrity

Aussie Shed reserves the right to:

Request additional information about products Request proof of production methods Review seller applications Remove listings Suspend accounts Revoke seller access

where necessary to protect the marketplace and its community.

  1. Reporting Concerns

Users who believe a listing violates these guidelines may contact Aussie Shed through the marketplace feedback or support channels.

Reports will be reviewed and investigated where appropriate.

  1. Changes To These Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated from time to time as the marketplace grows.

Continued use of Aussie Shed constitutes acceptance of the latest version of these guidelines.
