My latest creation. I've been working on this box for a little while, making an oval template in order to router out the very old piece of RedGum Burl. The crazy resin piece in the lid is about 4mm thick. And then the full lid is coated with a couple of flood coats of resin on top gives a finish like glass. The timber in the box is 150 year old Australian Red Cedar and Jacaranda. Lovely lush padded ring holders for 10 of your rings and ample space for your other precious items. You may notice in the old Red Cedar there was some splits that I filled with Fire Red resin, Gives this box a very old rustic type appearance. Overall measurement 230mm x 140mm x 70mm. Finished with my homemade blend of Danish Oil and wax for a very smooth finish. As always I will post this box to anywhere in Australia at my expense. Thanks for looking, Paul
